Guatemalan Blue Winter Squash Seeds

(5-10 lbs.) This is the oldest heirloom we carry. It is a long torpedo shaped squash with a unique flavor. It has slate blue skin with paler stripes. The flesh is golden-yellow, sweet and fiberless. It is delicious and creamy when grilled, fried, baked or roasted. Stores well and holds its quality when frozen. 90-95 days.

Late maturing; 80 days or longer until first fruits mature. Most produce on long vines and need room to sprawl. Male flowers will appear first, but only female flowers produce fruit. Brix is a measure of natural sugar content.
