Bush Delicata Winter Squash Seeds

The Dessert Squash is known for its sweet nutty flavor. This 2002 AAS winner developed at Cornell has a bush vine habit, higher yields and much more resistance to disease than older varieties of delicata making it a great choice for organic gardens. Each plant produces 5-9 thin-skinned cream-colored fruits with dark green stripes. Flesh is rich gold, fine textured with no strings. Winter storage averages 4 months. 80 days from seed. Powdery Mildew resistance.

Late maturing; 80 days or longer until first fruits mature. Most produce on long vines and need room to sprawl. Male flowers will appear first, but only female flowers produce fruit. Brix is a measure of natural sugar content.
